Bug or normal?
I have recently noticed that if you try to do an assassin's off hand (second) attack or a dual (third) attack before the lead attack or just in the wrong order the skill will act as if it is being used. However the skill will do absolutley nothing yet IT STILL DRAINS YOU ENERGY. Is this a early game bug or is this normal???

I think that's just put there to teach you not to press buttons out of place?
I've had a few moments while getting used to the sin where I would see a miss come up and wonder who blinded me. At least it doesn't make the dagger skill cycle its recharge if you do that. |

It's the way the game works. If you use an assassin skill out of order it will still use the skill, take the energy and put it into a recharge state.. but deal NO damage because it's done out of order.
Just ensure you use the skills in the order they are meant to be - and if you notice ytou miss with one of your skills in a chain.. do not keep on the chain as you'll just waste energy doing so! |

It's like when you are in the process of a skill and you interrupt yourself.. magic is still used.. even exhaustion.. it's all apart of the game.. Lack Common sense has its consequences

That is incredibly lame! Why wouldn't it treat it like any other skill that you can't use at that given point in time - and just simply make that clicking sound and say "Inappropriate target" or something like that? When I try to exploit a corpse, and there are none yet, it doesn't punish me like that. I don't have an assassin (at least not one that uses the combos and daggers), but I think that is just crappy.

well that's a little different.. if there's no corpse to exploit.. then you cant exploit.. but for an assassin you have to A to get to B to get to C.. if you skip A and choose B or C, then you will preform the skill but you will fail because you didn't do them in logical order. I don't see it as crappy.. just logical.. you did something.. you should have to pay for it.. no freebies
